Porch herbs before evening
A watering can, a terracotta pot, and the small reset that made the porch ready again.

We’re tending and arranging the porch plants together.
The porch herbs had reached the point where a quick glance was no longer enough. Basil leaned toward the screen, one pot had dried faster than the others, and the table needed clearing before the air cooled.
We brought the watering can out together and worked through the small jobs in order: turn the pots, trim the tired leaves, settle the loose soil, and leave room for two glasses at the corner of the table.
Nothing dramatic changed, but the porch became usable again. The garden notes nearby carry the same practical rhythm, with the useful tools and the work they are actually suited to.
