The worn elbow kept its record
A repair that stayed visible, with the thread doing its work plainly.

The worn elbow held a quiet grid of thread instead of pretending nothing happened.
The sweater had reached the honest part of its life: a thinning elbow, a little shine in the wool, and enough wear to show where the arm had rested through one winter after another.
We set the darning mushroom, the needle, and two close shades of thread on the table. The repair followed the worn grid rather than hiding it, reinforcing the place that had worked hardest without making it look newly manufactured.
The finished elbow reads as care, not camouflage. The full craft note shows the patient steps and the few tools that keep a repair precise.
